Certifications

For many types of paper, customers or even authorities require standard certifications!
We are well-versed in the various certificates that must be provided today. Especially for international manufacturers, we not only recommend which certifications are necessary for which paper industries, but we also accompany you through the certification process. This saves you both time and money.
Our recommendations for certifications include:
Which certificates are truly necessary?
Depending on the application, packaging papers require different certifications. Do customers require food safety compliance, or certifications such as FSC, PEFC, or the Blue Angel? Or can the paper even be composted after use? Depending on the manufacturing process and paper quality, we can help pave the way to obtaining the necessary certifications.
Customers decide
Ultimately, it is the customers or end users who decide which certifications are important to them. However, national certifications should ideally come from the country where the customer is based. Different countries have different threshold values and requirements. Especially when it comes to the safety of paper products, varying standards are not uncommon.
Certifications and organizations we are familiar with:
Food safety: ISEGA, FDA
Certified wood and paper: FSC (SGS), PEFC (SGS), Blue Angel, EU Ecolabel
Compostability: ISEGA
For the sake of clarity, we would like to point out that we do not carry out certifications ourselves – we offer consulting and guidance!
